“The Magic of Science”

Most of the art of magic and illusion is based on science. Whether it’s visual, sonic, electronic, mechanical or just perception, magic by its’ very nature is a great way to explore science. “The Magic of Science” explores optical illusions and little known scientific principals that are the fundamentals of all that a magician presents.

Students will be involved in this program that will demonstrate “heavy water”, levitation, magnetism, optical illusions and so much more. This program generally sends them to the library and kitchen to continue their exploration of “The Magic of Science”.  Reproducible “experiment sheets” for the students and “teacher’s notes” will keep the learning going on long after Terry is gone.
